At Square, I led large-scale initiatives to enhance security and access management, empowering sellers to protect their businesses and operate with greater confidence. I played a key role in implementing innovative authentication solutions, including Passkeys, login with phone numbers, and a step authentication framework, which strengthened account security and improved the login experience for sellers. Additionally, I significantly increased 2FA enrollment and achieved a substantial reduction in account takeover cases while maintaining stable costs, ensuring sellers could safeguard their accounts with minimal friction. I also introduced collaborative design rituals within the CIAM team, fostering a seamless integration of design into the product lifecycle and enhancing the overall seller experience on Square's platform.

I optimized processes for small business and enterprise requests, built a robust design system, and streamlined marketing workflows with modular components, cutting production time by 50%. My work resulted in a significant increase in site-driven orders, with the order volume nearly doubling over a two-month period. We saw a consistent upward trend after the launch of the new website and checkout flow. This demonstrated a substantial improvement in conversion rates and sustained engagement, reinforcing the impact of targeted design enhancements. Additionally, by creating more intuitive product pages and clearer checkout flows, I helped customers better understand what they were purchasing, leading to more informed decisions and fewer support inquiries.

At Wavelo, a Tucows subsidiary, I led the user experience and development of a B2B admin tool using the MONOS API for mobile provisioning and configuration, serving clients like Dish, Boost, and Ting Mobile. Originally intended as a temporary solution, its success led to its adoption as the permanent product, generating a consistent revenue stream for Wavelo. I focused on streamlining the user experience and improving performance, cutting loading times 15s to 7s. My role also involved planning product features and roadmaps, advocating for accessibility and UX principles, and educating engineers on these practices.
